Cowboys decline option on Henry Melton

The Dallas Cowboys declined their option on former Pro Bowl defensive tackle Henry Melton. Melton had a three-year, $24 million option that would have guaranteed him $9 million in 2015. Melton didn't regain his old Pro Bowl form last season, one year after a torn anterior cruciate ligament. He recorded just 15 tackles, five sacks in three starts. He didn't play in the playoffs due to a bone bruise in his right knee. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun.
