Cowboys sign Greg Hardy to one-year, $11.3 million deal

The Dallas Cowboys have signed defensive end Greg Hardy to a one-year, $11.3 million contract. He made $13.1 million as the Panthers' franchise player. Hardy remains on the commissioner's exempt list. He's eligible to be signed, but could still be facing an NFL suspension for violating the personal conduct policy. Hardy appealed a conviction for domestic violence and prosecutors dropped the case when he reached a financial settlement with his alleged victim and she didn't cooperate with a second trial. The former Carolina Panthers standout had 26 sacks in 2012 and 2013 combined. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
