Cowboys staffer files lawsuit over practice facility collapse
The fallout from the collapse of the Dallas Cowboys practice structure more than two years ago continues.
Jancy Briles, a member of the team’s public relations staff, has filed suit against companies involved with the structure.
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Briles filed suit April 29 against Summit Structures LLC and Cover-All Building Systems for “serious, disabling and permanent injuries” suffered in the May 2, 2009 collapse of the structure during a storm.
Cowboys scout Rich Behm was paralyzed below the waist in the accident. Special teams coach Joe DeCamillis suffered serious neck injuries.
