Da'Rel Scott was given a golden opportunity after David Wilson lost two fumbles against Dallas.

Now, the young running back might have suffered a serious setback is in his quest to become a starting running back.

According to a report from the New York Daily News, Scott injured his knee during Wednesday's practice. That would be a serious blow to a team that was forced to put Andre Brown on short-term IR due to a broken bone.

The Giants did sign Brandon Jacobs to their roster to help fill Brown's void. They also have rookie Michael Cox on the roster as well.
