Darnell Dockett fined $30,000

At some point, Darnell Docket might take to his Twitter account and vent about some hefty fines.

Maybe he’s stewing right now.

At any rate, the Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle has been fined $30,000 for two infractions last Sunday in his team’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

According to the Associated Press, Dockett was zapped $15,000 for a hit on Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton below the knees. He was also fined $15,000 for a horse-collar tackle of running back Bernard Scott. Talk about adding financial injury to insult.

Referees called penalties vs. Dockett on both plays. He has the right to appeal.
