Decker: Manning sharp in throwing session
Peyton Manning is already getting acclimated to Denver and his new Broncos teammates.
While the rules of the collective bargaining agreement prevent Manning and his new teammates from working out at the Broncos facilities, it didn't prevent him from getting in a throwing session with some of them at a local high school.
And the results were good, receiver Eric Decker tells the Denver Post.
"Just some drill work, talking through stuff, so he gets familiar with the verbage and the calls," Decker said. "The biggest thing is he wanted to get a feel for us, and a feel for being under center."
Center J.D. Walton and tight end Julius Thomas were also present at the session at Valor Christian outside of Denver.
"He looked real good, though he probably won't admit that he's feeling good or feeling back to the way he wants to be," Decker said.
