Dennis Pitta injures right hip
The Baltimore Ravens may be without one of their top offensive contributors.
During Sunday's game against Cleveland, tight end Dennis Pitta caught a pass on a screen before stumbling to the ground. Pitta looked to be in a lot of pain and had to be stabilized and carted off of the field. The Ravens later announced that it was an injury to his right hip.
This is the same hip he dislocated a year ago during training camp. It caused Pitta to miss about three months of time before returning in December. Of course, re-injuring the hip puts Pitta back at square one of the rehab process he underwent to return to playing the game.
Pitta was re-signed to a $32 million deal this past March, with $16 million guaranteed.
