Denver LT Ryan Clady Likely to Miss 2015 with Torn ACL
Despite being hampered with a sore knee after yesterday's OTA's, the Broncos felt optimistic their star left tackle Ryan Clady wasn't facing anything too serious.
Unfortunately, the Denver received the worst-possible news.
Clady, who left organized team activities early on Wednesday, is expected to miss all of the 2015 season after further testing revealed the 2008 1st-round pick in fact did tear his left ACL. The injury took place during 11-on-11 drills, as Clady fell to the ground after participating as a pass blocker.
In April of 2010, Clady ruptured the same knee in a pickup basketball game, though he did manage to not miss any time that season.
The Broncos have already agreed to terms with tackle Ryan Harris as insurance. As well, the team selected local product OL Ty Sambrailo from Colorado State in the second round of this month's draft. However, the only surefire starter in front of the aging Peyton Manning is guard Louis Vasquez, as question marks have already surfaced as to who and where the rest of his peers will be slotted.
