Dez Bryant healing just nicely
Either Dez Bryant is a quick healer or some of the initial reports when he suffered a high ankle sprain at the beginning of training camp were a little overblown.
The Dallas Cowboys rookie wide receiver will be able to lose his walking boot on Saturday, and is on track to be back easily in time for the start of the regular season, reports Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas. In fact, there is a chance that Bryant could return to action for the final preseason game if the Cowboys felt inclined to force him onto the field.
Bryant figures to play a major role in the offense this season. He’s been hyped up to the point, though, that matching expectations could be difficult. Ensuring that he is 100 percent healthy for the start of the season is the first step.
