Dez Bryant May Miss Week 1
Dez Bryant is contemplating a holdout.
The Cowboys' wideout has yet to sign his franchise tag in hopes of securing a long-term deal in Dallas by the July 15th deadline. Reports indicate that if that deal cannot be made, Bryant will not report to training camp or the first game of the season, a home game against the Giants.
Bryant's franchise tag guarantees him $12.8 million from Dallas this season if he signs it, but if he doesn't he cannot play for any other team. After a league-leading 16 receiving TDs last season, Bryant seems to think he has all of the bargaining chips, and he just might.
