Dion Jordan placed on non-football injury list

The Miami Dolphins signed first-round pick Dion Jordan on Saturday, but that doesn' mean he will be available for the start of training camp.

Jordan was placed on the non-football injury list, per ProFootballTalk.com, due to his on-going recovery from shoulder surgery that took place in the off-season.

While the injury probably was a result of football, Jordan is on NFI because the injury took place before he was drafted by the Dolphins. He can be removed from the list and placed on the active training camp roster at any time.
