Dolphins awarded Jalil Brown off of waivers

The Miami Dolphins put in a waiver claim for defensive back Jalil Brown and were awarded his services, the organization announced on Tuesday.

Brown was previously with the Indianapolis Colts earlier this season before they placed him on waivers. Brown recorded four tackles in five games.

Brown was a fourth-round draft pick by the Chiefs in 2011. After spending two seasons in Kansas City, he was waived prior to the start of this season.

To make room for Brown's addition, the Dolphins waived defensive back D.J. Campbell.
