Dolphins cut Brady Quinn

The Miami Dolphins have cut veteran quarterback Brady Quinn.

Quinn is a former Cleveland Browns first-round draft pick.

He was signed after he also met with the New England Patriots, but didn't last long with the Dolphins.

The Dolphins also placed defensive tackle A.J. Francis on injured reserve as well as running back Mike Gillislee and tight end Arthur Lynch.

The Dolphins cut wide receiver Armon Binns, tight end Brett Brackett, cornerback Steven Clarke, defensive end Rakim Cox, defensive tackle Cory Grissom, center Tyler Larsen and wide receiver Ryan Spadola.
