Dolphins cut Cortland Finnegan

The Miami Dolphins have cut veteran cornerback Cortland Finnegan. Finnegan started a dozen games for the Dolphins last year and registered 44 tackles with zero interceptions. Finnegan signed a two-year, $11 million last year. Cutting him saves over $5 million against the cap. Finnegan was due $5.475 million next season.
