Dolphins cut Greg Jennings, restructure Suh, Misi contracts

The Miami Dolphins cut veteran wide receiver Greg Jennings and restructured contracts for defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and linebacker Koa Misi. Jennings caught 19 passesĀ  for 208 yards in one season with the Dolphins. The Dolphins restructured the deals to free up nearly $20 million in cap room. Jennings has been released after a disappointing season in Miami. The 32-year-old Jennings had just 19 catches for 208 yards in his only season as a Dolphin. Before restructuring, Suh was slated to have the highest base salary in the NFL, at $23.485 million. The Dolphins also announced that they have tendered six exclusive rights free agents: safetyShamiel Gary, receiver Matt Hazel, cornerback Tyler Patmon, tight end Jake Stoneburner and safety Michael Thomas.
