Dolphins' declare Davis, Merling out for 'non-injury' reasons
The Miami Dolphins announced Saturday evening that both cornerback Vontae Davis and defensive end Phillip Merling would miss Sunday's game with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald smells something fishy with the Dolphins' announcement, especially where Davis is concerned.
Davis has been in and out of the Dolphins lineup with a chronic hamstring issue, and according to Salguero, citing a team source, the cornerback has not been pleased with the way the Dolphins have handled his injury.
Stay tuned, because in a season where the Dolphins have been unable to find a victory, the chance for dissension in the ranks increases as the losses mount.
