Dolphins re-sign Jacques McClendon, cut James-Michael Johnson

The Miami Dolphins re-signed center-guard Jacques McClendon with Mike Pouncey hurting. They cut linebacker James-Michael Johnson. The 6-3, 320-pound McClendon has appeared in 23 career NFL games (five starts). He was signed by the Dolphins as an unrestricted free agent on April 22, 2015, spending training camp and the preseason with the team before being released on Sept. 11. McClendon re-signed with the Dolphins on Sept. 14 and appeared in one game at Jacksonville (9/20) prior to being released on Sept. 26.
