Dolphins sign Andre Branch

The Miami Dolphins signed defensive end Andre Branch. Branch spent the first four years of his NFL career with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2012-15) after he was selected by the Jaguars in the second round (38th overall) of the 2012 NFL draft. Throughout his four-year career, Branch has played in 51 games and made 12 starts. He has totaled 90 tackles (69 solo), 14 sacks, 11 passes defensed, five forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. Despite missing the first three contests of 2015 due to injury, Branch played 13 games and made nine starts for Jacksonville. He recorded 24 tackles (18 solo), four sacks, five quarterback hits and two forced fumbles. Branch also recovered a fumble, returning it 49 yards for his first career touchdown in a win vs. Indianapolis.
