Dolphins sign J.D. Walton, host Michael Crabtree, Tarvaris Jackson

The Miami Dolphins brought in San Francisco 49ers free agent wide receiver Michael Crabtree and former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson in for visits. They also signed backup center J.D. Walton. “I would like to welcome J.D. to the Miami Dolphins,” said Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey. “He is a young, but experienced player who will be a positive addition to our offensive line.” Walton spent last season with the New York Giants and has previous stints with the Washington Redskins and Denver Broncos. He's a former Broncos third-round draft pick and has 52 career starts. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
