Dolphins sign Matt Moore

The Miami Dolphins re-signed quarterback Matt Moore to a one-year contract. "Matt has provided stability and leadership for the Dolphins in his time here," general manager Dennis Hickey said. Moore is entering his ninth season in the NFL in 2015 and fifth with the Dolphins after spending the first three years of his career with the Carolina Panthers.  In his career, he has played in 40 games with 25 starts and completed 452-of-768 passes (58.9 percent) for 5,342 passing yards, 33 touchdowns and 28 interceptions, for a 79.2 passer rating. Since joining the Dolphins in 2011, Moore has appeared in 18 games with 12 starts and completed 225-of-376 passes (59.8 percent) for 2,702 passing yards, 17 touchdowns and 11 interceptions for an 84.8 passer rating. His 59.8 completion percentage is the fourth highest in Dolphins history and his 84.8 passer rating is the third best in franchise history.
