Dolphins to cut Brian Hartline

The Miami Dolphins are cutting wide receiver Brian Hartline. Hartline was due a $5.9 million base salary entering the third year of a five-year, $30 million contract. Hartline had just 474 receiving yards in 16 starts last season. He had 1,000-yard seasons the previous two years. Hartline is likely to have a solid market despite the crowd of receivers growing with his release and Harry Douglas being cut by the Atlanta Falcons.
