Dolphins to interview Broncos' McCoy

While the debate how good a quarterback Tim Tebow will eventually be will likely rage on for some time, Tebow has done well enough that the man who help redesign the Denver Broncos offense is getting a head coaching interview soon.

Mike McCoy will interview with the Miami Dolphins for their vacant head coaching position, according to the Miami Herald. McCoy has been the Broncos offensive coordinator since 2009 and helped retool the system in the middle of the year in order to fit Tebow's unique skill set this season.

After having been spurned by Jeff Fisher, the Dolphins are now scouring the coordinator ranks to try and find their next head coach, and there have been discussions about Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael as well.

Miami has already interviewed a number of assistant coaches from around the NFL.
