Dolphins trade Mike Wallace to Vikings

The Miami Dolphins traded wide receiver Mike Wallace and a seventh-round draft pick to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick. The Vikings pursued Wallace when he was a free agent two years ago and signed a five-year, $60 million contract with the Dolphins to leave the Pittsburgh Steelers. Wallace got an $11 million signing bonus from the Dolphins. However, his play was inconsistent over the past two years.
