Dominic Raiola reinstated from suspension
Detroit Lions center Dominic Raiola was officially reinstated from a one-game suspension.
Raiola was suspended for stomping on Chicago Bears defensive tackle Ego Ferguson's ankle.
Now, Raiola is set to play in the Lions' playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Lions waived Darren Keyton on Monday to make room for Raiola.
"I was disappointed (by the suspension)," Raiola said. "But that's the way they saw it and apparently didn't really hear what I had to say. That's the way it is and that's the way it went and it was a rough week. It was probably one of the more difficult weeks of my life. It was tough."
Raiola took issue with the NFL suspending Ndamukong Suh for stepping on Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' leg. Suh is appealing.
"He was getting pushed back, you know," Raiola said. "It was crazy watching it. There's no way at that point in the game that he did something like that on purpose. I'm going to hold out hope that he's still available."
