Dumervil: Truth will come out

Denver Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil said in a text message to the Denver Post that he was confident "the truth will come out" regarding his weekend arrest in Miami Beach.

Dumervil and Andy Auguste are charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, accused of leaving their vehicles and approaching a white Impala and raising their shirts to reveal weapons hanging from their waist bands.

The matter remains under investigation and police are preparing to do fingerprint tests on the guns confiscated from the vehicles Dumervil and Auguste were riding in. Dumervil maintains the gun was not his and that the Land Rover he was driving, where one of the gun was found, is not his either.
