Dwight Freeney still wants to play

Veteran pass rusher Dwight Freeney still wants to play football. The former Pro Bowl defender told Sirius XM NFL Radio that he wants to continue his career. Freeney had 3 1/2 sacks for the San Diego Chargers last season. “A lot of it is up in the air,” Freeney said. “I have aspirations to play, but the thing is I have to be in the right situation for me. I can’t get put in a situation where I’m running away from the ball. I want to run toward the guy with the ball more than I’m running away.” Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
