Dwyer improves 40 time at Georgia Tech pro day
Jonathan Dwyer had the opportunity to silence some critics if he could turn in a solid showing during Georgia Tech’s pro day.
On Monday, the junior running back did just that.
After running in the high 4.6 range during the NFL combine last month in Indianapolis (some scouts had him clocked at 4.69) Dwyer bounced back at Georgia Tech’s pro day Monday, running in the mid 4.5 range.
One scout I talked to timed Dwyer at 4.53.
In addition to Dwyer, free safety Morgan Burnett ran in the mid 4.4 range.
Defensive end Derrick Morgan chose to stand on his results from the combine and only took part in position drills.
