Eagles doing some late-season kicking of the tires
With some late-season injuries piling up, and with an apparent need for a boost in the return game, the Philadelphia Eagles have been busy combing the street.
According to Adam Caplan of FoxSports.com, the Eagles have put five players through workouts this week, including veteran returners Justin Miller and Clifton Smith. Interestingly, Miller also was put through a workout by the team last week. Smith is a former Pro Bowl performer for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Also in this week, per the report, were tight end DajLeon Farr, defensive tackle Tom Johhnson and safety Geoff Tisdale. Stay tuned to see if a move is forthcoming.
