Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham arrested

Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham was arrested and charged with beating a man at the Hilton in South Beach.

Bradham and his friends argued with an employee over how long it took him to bring over an umbrella.

A glass bottle was broken over the back of his head.

The six people fled the scene.

Bradham's credit card receipt was submitted to police as evidence. He paid for the umbrella.

"We are aware of the recent incident involving Nigel Bradham in Miami," the Eagles said in a statement. "We have been in contact with Nigel and the proper authorities. Due to the ongoing legal process, we will have no further comment at this time.” Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle.
