Eagles lock up Sam Bradford on new deal

The Philadelphia Eagles have locked up quarterback Sam Bradford to a new two-year contract worth $36 million and includes $26 million in guaranteed money. Bradford has made $114 million through nine seasons. He's gone 25-37-1. He's never made it to the playoffs and has battled injuries. Bradford, 28, wouldn't have cashed in as a free agent. Bradford threw for 3,725 yards, 19 touchdowns and 14 interceptions last year. Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle.
