Eagles sign cop punter
One the day it was learned that the most-tenured punter in the history of the game is calling it a career, a lawman is trying to make it by getting his kicks in the NFL.
The Philadelphia Eagles have signed punter Ken Parrish to a three-year contract. Parrish spent training camp with the club last summer and then had a brief stint with the New York Jets. Originally, he spent time with the San Francisco 49ers.
Parrish was a two-time first team All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference selection at East Stroudsburg. Per Bob Grotz of the Delaware County Times, he’s now employed by the Stroudsburg Area Regional Police Department.
