Eagles signing Walter Thurmond

The Philadelphia Eagles are signing former Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants cornerback Walter Thurmond, a league source confirmed. Thurmond played for the Giants last season, but spent the season on injured reserve with a torn pectoral. The Eagles have also signed former Seahawks cornerback Byron Maxwell to a six-year, $63 million contract that included $25 million guaranteed. Thurmond played for Eagles coach Chip Kelly at Oregon.
