Eagles survive another wide receiver scare
The Philadelphia Eagles have dodged their second bullet when it comes to a wide receiver being carted off the field.
First, DeSean Jackson got the ride no one wants and he was reported to be fine with a minor back issue. Today, Jeremy Maclin was carted off the field but he too received good news. Maclin told reporters afterward that he has hyperextended his knee a little bit and there was nothing serious, according to Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News.
Maclin didn’t offer a timetable for a return but said he should be all right.
“It is (a relief),” Maclin said. “Nobody wants to experience anything that's season-ending or anything like that.
“I just kinda got stuck in the ground, man, my leg just kinda buckled on me a little bit.”
