Eagles trading LeSean McCoy to Bills for Kiko Alonso

In a blockbuster move, ESPN is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles are trading running back LeSean McCoy to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for middle linebacker Kiko Alonso. The trade can't become official until next Tuesday at 4 p.m. McCoy is one of the top backs in the game. Alonso is an aggressive young linebacker. McCoy has two more years left on his contract, with base salaries of $6.9 million and $7.6 million. Alonso is due $746,000 and $942,000 on the final years of his rookie contract. Alonso played for Eagles coach Chip Kelly at Oregon. McCoy rushed for 1,319 yards and tallied five touchdowns last season for the Eagles.
