Edwards won't get second ride with Jets
Before the draft, there were reports and speculation that Braylon Edwards might land back with the New York Jets.
Now, the New York Post says that won't happen. Edwards played for the Jets in 2009-10 and spent last season with the San Francisco 49ers before being waived.
It was speculated that a return trip to the Jets might be in order, but New York now appears content to go with Santonio Holmes, rookie Stephen Hill, Jeremy Kerley and Chaz Schillens as its top four receivers.
That leaves Edwards and the man who replaced him on the Jets roster last year, Plaxico Burress, both still on the free agent market as training camps are quickly approaching next month.
