Eli Manning not quite 100 percent yet

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is still working to convince trainers that he's fully ready.

Manning had offseason surgery on his left ankle and is participating in some football drills.

“I feel 100%,” Manning told the New York Daily News. “But the trainers tell me I’m not.”

Manning said he's trying to take part in the Giants' organized team activity later this spring.

“I already feel like I can go out there and do everything,” Manning said. “We’ll still be smart about it these next few weeks and not overdo anything. If they want to limit me somewhat, I’ll understand that. But I want to take every single rep and they know that.”
