Eli Manning participates in OTAs practice
Eli Manning had ankle surgery in early April and wasn't expected to be available this spring.
Well, apparently the Giants' starting quarterback is a quick healer. On Wednesday, Manning was able to put in a full practice, the team's website reported.
In addition to position drills, Manning was able to take first-team reps under center while being taught offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo's new scheme. Keep in mind, however, that there isn't any contact — or at least shouldn't be — during these practices.
Having Manning on the field during these practices is great for the organization considering they're working in a new offense. Manning is coming off one of his worst seasons of his career, throwing for 3,818 yards, 18 touchdowns and 27 interceptions.
