Eric Crouch trying to make it happen in UFL
A decade after he won the Heisman Trophy at Nebraska, Eric Crouch is trying to get back into football.
The former Nebraska quarterback is participating in a minicamp for the Omaha Nighthawks of the UFL. He’s one of about 70 players on hand, according to a report by the Associated Press.
Crouch played quarterback in the CFL for the Toronto Argonauts in 2006. Prior to that, he had brief stints with the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs. Those teams looked at him at safety. He also played safety in NFL Europe.
