Eric Decker probable for Thursday game
Eric Decker has been hampered by a nagging hamstring throughout the first six weeks of the season.
However, it appears he's at his healthiest since the preseason injury occurred. Decker has been listed as probable for Thursday night's game against the New England Patriots.
Despite the injury, Decker has appeared in five of the Jets' six games this season. He's recorded a touchdown in three of them. The Jets' offense has struggled all season, mainly due to Geno Smith's ineffectiveness. But Decker has been a bright spot on an otherwise struggling side of the ball.
Of course, things could be difficult as Decker will draw Darrelle Revis throughout the game. Without any other capable receivers to strike a big play deep, the Jets will need to hope the running game gets things going early.
Good luck with that.
