Eric Decker visiting Jets today

The New York Jets brought in Denver Broncos free agent wide receiver Eric Decker for a visit today, according to the New York Daily News.

Decker landed in Newark, N.J. last night on a flight from Denver.

This is Decker's first free agent visit.

Decker, 26,  caught 87 passes for 1,288 yards and 11 touchdowns last season.

The Jets are sorely in need of reinforcements at wide receiver for someone to work in tandem with Jeremy Kerley.

Decker would provide a major upgrade to their receiving corps.

He's big, tall and athletic and has been consistently productive.

In four NFL seasons, the former University of Minnesota standout has 222 career receptions for 3,070 yards and 33 touchdowns.
