Eric Weddle reporting for Chargers minicamp
Embroiled in a contract dispute with the San Diego Chargers, veteran safety Eric Weddle is reporting for minicamp this week.
Weddle has been rebuffed in his request for a new contract.
Weddle, 30, is due a $7.5 million base salary in the final year of his contract.
Weddle could have been subject to fines if he had skipped the minicamp, up to $72,290.
