Even in victory, Brandon Jacobs doesn't have a lot to say
Last week, Brandon Jacobs was quoted in Men’s Fitness talking about how he expects to be with another team next season.
Really, he’s looking forward to it.
So it was little surprise that after a victory for the New York Giants on Sunday, a 20-17 come-from-behind win over the winless Miami Dolphins, Jacobs didn’t have much to say. He got four carries for 10 yards in the game even though Amhad Bradshaw missed time with a foot injury that – who knows – could open up more playing time for Bradshaw moving forward.
“I’ve got nothing positive to say,” Jacobs said, according to ESPN New York. “The most positive thing: I got family at home and I got a fast-ass car being delivered on Tuesday. That’s it.”
So, not much to talk about?
“Cause I can’t say nothing,” Jacobs said. “I always say something for everyone else’s dislike.”
While many would use a moving van to get out of town, maybe Jacobs will be laying rubber out of town in his “fast-ass car.” At least it will be an option.
