Ex-Cowboys running back Joseph Randle arrested for battery, drug possession

Former Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle has been arrested in Kansas on charges of battery, drug possession and criminal damage. He faces three counts of aggravated battery, one count of drug possession and one count of criminal damage. That would be his fifth arrest in the past 17 months. The Cowboys released the running back in November. Earlier this month, Randle was booked into the Irving Jail on a speeding charge. Police said he showed up at his ex-girlfriend’s home, hoping to get some sleep before driving back to Kansas. But he wasn’t welcome there, so the ex’s mother called police. Irving police determined that Randle was wanted for speeding in a school zone in Coppell and arrested him. He's also been arrested for shoplifting in Frisco, a domestic violence case in Wichita and another incident at a casino.
