Ex-Cowboys running back Joseph Randle charged with felony

Former Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle has been charged with threatening a deputy while jailed on other charges in Kansas. Randle was charged in Sedgwick County with a felony count of criminal threat. He said he planned to hire a lawyer to represent him during a first appearance Tuesday via a video link from the jail. Randle threatened a deputy, according to police. He was assigned a $5,000 bojnd and a July 6 court date. He's also been charged in Kansas with a casino disturbance and with backing his car into three people. Those charges also are felonies. He is due in court to answer those charges on July 26.
