Ex-Cowboys running back Joseph Randle charged with felony
Former Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle has been charged with threatening a deputy while jailed on other charges in Kansas. Randle was charged in Sedgwick County with a felony count of criminal threat. He said he planned to hire a lawyer to represent him during a first appearance Tuesday via a video link from the jail. Randle threatened a deputy, according to police. He was assigned a $5,000 bojnd and a July 6 court date. He's also been charged in Kansas with a casino disturbance and with backing his car into three people. Those charges also are felonies. He is due in court to answer those charges on July 26. He was cut from the team last year. Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle.
