Ex-Seminole P.J. Williams' DUI Case Dismissed
On April 3rd, former Florida State Seminoles' cornerback P.J. Williams was arrested for DUI after a late-night incident in which the 2013 BCS Championship Defensive MVP was seen swerving in-and-out of his lane, adding an illegal turn as well.
Today, those charges have officially been dismissed.
According to Williams' attorney John Simon, the Florida state attorney's office decided there was not sufficient evidence to charge Williams, while the dashcam of the arresting officer did not corroborate with the officer's initial account of the arrest.
Williams, a potential first-round pick before the incident, is now being projected anywhere from the 2nd-3rd round.
