Falcons sign 15 undrafted free agents

The Atlanta Falcons have signed 15 undrafted free agents to contracts, including tight end Colin Peek, a member of Alabama’s national championship team.

He was one of three tight ends to get contracts as the Falcons brace for the eventuality that future Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez will retire. The other tight ends signed were Southern Miss’ Leroy Banks and Clemson’s Michael Palmer following a draft that was heavy on defense.

The Falcons also added tight wide receiver Tim Buckley (Alcorn State), safety Rafael Bush (South Carolina State), cornerback Dominique Daniels (Nicholls State), safety Gabe Derricks (San Diego), long snapper Justin Drescher (Colorado), wide receiver Brandyn Harvey (Villanova), linebacker Weston Johnson (Wyoming), kicker Garrett Lindholm (Tarleton State), running back Dimitri Nance (Arizona State), defensive end Emmanuel Stephens (Mississippi), wide receiver Ryan Wolfe (UNLV) and linebacker Bear Woods (Troy).
