Falcons sign Lofa Tatupu
The Atlanta Falcons look to be reworking their defense some under new coordinator Mike Nolan.
Some familiar faces have departed and Atlanta added a new one today by signing Lofa Tatupu, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The former standout for the Seattle Seahawks who sat out all of last season.
Tatupu had a workout for the Falcons on Friday. He’s coming off multiple knee surgeries and it’s too early for anyone who hasn’t seen him to tell where he’s at. Atlanta could be in need of some help at the position. They could potentially lose Curtis Lofton in free agency beginning Tuesday, although the hope is to retain him.
