The Atlanta Falcons have signed linebacker Nate Stupar to a contract extension.
Stupart is a 6-foot-2, 240-pound former Oakland Raiders seventh-round draft pick.
He has played for the Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, and Jacksonville Jaguars before being claimed off of waivers by the Atlanta Falcons last year.
Stupar has played in 27 career games, primarily on special teams. In 2014, he appeared in 15 games and finished the season ranked second on the team with nine special teams tackles.
