Falcons will mix it up during training camp
The Atlanta Falcons have decided to break up the monotony of training camp this summer.
They announced that they will conduct joint practices with the Jacksonville Jaguars and New England Patriots during camp. It’s an interesting move, usually one done by first-year head coaches looking to see players in more competitive situations.
The Falcons play both of the AFC clubs during preseason. The Patriots will visit starting Aug. 17 in advance of the game on Aug. 19 at the Georgia Dome. The Jaguars will come to meet the Falcons for practices on Aug. 9-10. Atlanta concludes the preseason at Jacksonville on Sept. 2.
