Finally, William Moore back on the field for Falcons
At long last, William Moore was back on the football field for the Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday.
The safety, a second-round draft pick last year from Missouri, was forced to sit out the club’s minicamp earlier this month with what the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports was a pectoral injury. That, of course, is after knee and hamstring injuries led him to surgery and forced him to miss nearly all of his rookie season.
Tuesday was the first day of OTA’s for the Falcons and it’s a good step for Moore, who should be able to build a little momentum moving toward training camp. He’s got to stay healthy though. It’s not a good thing for a guy to be heading into his second season with three separate injuries having sidelined him.
Meanwhile, the club’s top pick from a year ago, defensive tackle Peria Jerry, remains out as he rehabilitates a reconstructed knee.
